TCA Supporters Create Fundraising Event in Boston, MA at Lucky Strike Bowling Alley

Jennifer Bickel and Paula Ellis recently helped co-organize a Teen Cancer America fundraising event in Boston, MA on September 13th, 2019. There were several items donated to this event to help raise money for TCA including a guitar signed by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who, photos from famous music photographer Danny Clinch, signed items by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, and several gift packages.  

“I love seeing passionate music fans come together for these teens to raise awareness and money to help with all the amazing programs TCA is building,” said Bickel. “My teenage son is a huge fan of The Who which is how we got involved with TCA.”

The event which took place at Lucky Strike Bowling alley raised nearly $8000 with several online donations, raffles, and a live auction. The night was capped off by a performance by singer Jack West.

“We love what they [TCA] represent and how they are helping this specific age group by providing spaces and programs for them.” We are all looking forward to doing many more events like this one while creating lifelong friendships at these fundraisers.”
